B&F/Johnstone Supply is a complete HVAC/R Supply House which stocks many of the major product lines in the industry. We are a part of the Johnstone Supply cooperative which is considered to be one of the leading HVAC/R supply houses internationally. We operate 10 Johnstone Supply branches in the New York metropolitan area and Connecticut and are constantly looking toward future expansion.
This is a Full Time position - Monday thru Friday - hours may vary between 7am -5pm
Job Description/Qualifications
Deliver HVAC parts and equipment to our other locations as well as to our large customer base located in Connecticut as well as in New York, the five boroughs and Long Island.
Ability to drive a 16' or longer Box Truck.
Assist in Warehouse when not making deliveries.
Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic with a neat appearance and courteous manner.
A clean driver's license is required and a CDL license is a plus.
Ability to work safely and accurately in a team atmosphere with a sense of urgency.
Must be able to sit, stand for long periods. Also requires bending, twisting and lifting up to 60 pounds.
When loading and unloading trucks it is imperative that products and equipment are handled without damage or error.
Able to read and write in English as well as maintaining a clean and orderly workstation, warehouse and truck.
Knowledge of roads in the Connecticut and New York metropolitan area is a plus.
