The Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant works alongside our Sales and Marketing team with the goal of becoming a Marketing coordinator.

Job Results and Responsibilities: 


Primary responsibilities: 

  • Participate in ongoing business development and sales/marketing projects.
  • Assist Sales team with the following tasks: answering sales telephone & email inquiries, tracking of sales leads,weekly sales report, and detailed correspondence to operational departments.
  • Help coordinate sales, marketing and business development presentation and events.
  • Access and input data into a computer system to directly assist sales team
  • Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: 

Required:

  • Required: Bachelors degree ORequivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Required skills/abilities

  • Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures.
  • General knowledge of sales and marketing processes and techniques to drive sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to listen to others to identify concerns and needs.
  • Skill in facilitating open lines of communication.
  • Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems.
  • Ability to work productively in teams with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Basic understanding of IT user support and trouble-shooting methods.
  • Proficient in creating and applying administrative efficiencies
  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications, both use and ability to advise others.
  • Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of tasks and work completion on time despite frequent interruptions.
