Consists of 6 branches including Niles, Chicago, Melrose Park, Downers Grove, Elk Grove and Vernon Hills is expanding and is seeking a strong Counter Sales and Service Associate for our Chicago Northside branch as our Melrose Park location. We are a sales-oriented highly successful privately owned company, seeking an energetic, engaging, knowledgeable, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Counter Sales and Service Associate.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The individual will hire will be responsible for helping our HVAC/R customers find the parts and equipment they need with prompt, friendly and professional service.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Counter Sales): Perform all sales and operation functions at the store sales counter, including order processing, product application, pricing, etc. Assist customers with sales, questions on products, and any other information as needed. Serve as go-to person for co-workers who need assistance with any product knowledge and/or technical questions. Understand and use all cross-reference materials and find alternate product if needed. Process orders and returns, and fill out all necessary paperwork neatly and properly. Handle customers’ phone sales and questions. Process ship outs and will call orders, as well as returns. Clean and organize showroom. This position requires an individual that works well in a team environment to build positive relationships with repeat customers.
The successful candidate will possess the following skillset:
· Superior customer service skills
· A mechanical aptitude
· High School diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience.
· A customer service oriented personality
· Strong computer skills
· Honesty and a strong work ethic
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry or equivalent training
· 2 or more years’ experience as a Sales and Service Associate in the wholesale HVAC/R or similar
