Our Business Development team is looking for a Training Coordinator to support the strategic priorities at Johnstone by providing administrative and first-line user/participant support to Johnstone University for both online and in-person venues. Also to represent JU with supplier partners.

Essential Job Results:

 JU Online Support

  1. Acts as first-line technical support (Tier 1) for JU Online (JUO) and JU Online for Contractors (JUOC)
    1. This will include routine support requests such as generating PIN codes, resetting user ID’s, manual passes, changing groups, adding stores, assisting with uploading supplier courses, updating existing course info, managing sharing courses to JUOC
    2. Escalate complex or difficult (Tier 2) support requests to the University Administrator
  2. Performs ongoing maintenance and clean-up of user data
  3. Provides administrative support for contests & drawings (send reports to suppliers, choose winners, manage communication to winners , stores, contractors)
  4. Completes documentation related State CEU application and renewal process for JUOC
  5. Generates summary reports and dashboards as needed

JU Workshop & Webinar Support

  1. Creates JU Workshop course records on JUO
  2. Handles execution of workshop logistics
    1. Including printing and shipping of workshop materials (binders, copies, nametags, tent cards and other training aids), coordinating with local contact regarding the meeting room availability and set up, and confirmation and/or planning of lodging, catering and ground transportation for workshop attendees
  3. Responds to Member support requests regarding registration issues and travel-related issues for workshops
  4. Registers attendees in workshop pre-work and follow-up on progress toward completion
  5. Sends out final confirmations in advance of each workshop
  6. Collects and coordinates recording and payment of workshop expenses
  1. Plans and schedules workshops (Incl. negotiating with 3rd parties and/or JS Suppliers)
  2. Takes steps to replace any workshop that is cancelled to ensure we meet budget
  3. Creates monthly workshop budget summary for Director of Training & Business Development

Manage Supplier Sponsored Product and Application Training

  1. Coordinates with Product Team to align with upcoming product launches and strategic initiatives
  2. Meets with suppliers when they visit the Corp office
  3. Collects, evaluates and loads Supplier Training Information pages to JUO
  4. Creates & manages a database of supplier training – including online and local instructor led training.
  5. Develops & communicates training standards for vendors and other 3rd party instructors.
  6. Reviews and validates supplier training to ensure that it meets JU standards (and will achieve both supplier and member objectives).  If not, has a conversation to coach and guide supplier to make improvements.
  7. Creates and communicates supplier reports as needed
  8. Collects and posts Supplier Training calendar events
  9. Performs on-going maintenance and clean-up of Supplier Training calendar events

General Administrative Duties

  1. Completes monthly billing
    • Ensures Johnstone stores are properly billed for training courses and materials by tracking participation in training programs and reimbursable expenses, and providing the Finance department with monthly billing information
    • Submits summary reports of billing to Director of Training & Business Development
  2. Assists with Training department participation in Member meetings (printing, copies and shipping of materials and collateral; ordering of promotional and other needed materials)
  3. Assists JS Support Services with creation, maintenance and shipping of business planning kits, communication, survey maintenance, materials(folders)
  4. Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:  Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school; 2 – 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.  A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
